I study Deutsch 2months.its a real help to me.

More words and minor grammatic rules list would improve the usability.

Installed prior trip to Austria and Germany. Could find very few words. Even it was helpless with a restaurant kids menu

there are some minor things this app lacks such as forms of verbs or stuff concerned to grammatics, but in general i got the most i downloaded it for, so 5 stars deserved.

Very useful to quickly lookup words while traveling, but for a paid version I would expect better: many complex german words are not in the dictionary, there is no log of my previous searches, online audio doesnt work ( it blocks any audio pronounciation ), the translate feature does not allow copy and paste, editing, or inverting translation direction, and the usage examples a quite limited.

When you click on to hear a pronunciation no voice speaks it .

This app is my primary reference for gender. Without the correct gender you cannot properly conjugate the myriad articles, pronouns, adjectives etc German subjects you to.

The audio even slower is way too fast. The online doesnt work. The audio is very important to me. Fix this or I cant use your app. Disappointing since the rest of the app looks great.

I have bought multiple versions of your app in a variety of languages that I study. I LOVE it! I have tried many apps — but I LOVE the consistent format you bring to these apps in the various languages. The BEST part — it is all beautifully linked. You type in the word you are looking for, and the app automatically finds definitions in whatever language you typed (without having to change the language, as most other apps require). Also, the VERB conjugations are wonderful! You look up a verb — click on "conjugate" in the upper right — and you instantly have access to ALL conjugations in all tenses of that verb. NO other app I have tried comes close to convenience for rapidity of verb conjugations (and I have tried MANY other apps). This dictionary is not as good for longer translations (I use another app for that ... ) — but for everything else, it is the best iphone/ipad app I have found for very fast and accurate translations and verb conjugation review. Thank you! NOTE #1 — The non-paid versions are inferior. But the adds go away and the dictionary greatly expands if you get the paid apps (well worth the money!). NOTE #2 — Someone mentioned they had trouble hearing the words. I did to until I shut off "Go on-line for better quality" — after which I heard the voices well. The "slow" speed is still a bit fast, but understandable.

The app is very user-friendly. The conjugation with the tenses for verbs is great! I would recommend that the plural form of nouns be included in the future.

A good dictionary app with about 85% of words you want can be found

Great app for everyday usage and light learning of language.

Hard to learn a language when you can not hear the pronunciation of the phrases or words.

Has saved my life many times in my studies

The list of words is good but not the greatest. I tried to use it as my dictionary for a German book using it as my offline dictionary. I ended up having to stop at the first paragraph since it was missing quite a few nouns.
